DMCA Takedown and Counter-Notice Protocol If a valid DMCA takedown request is submitted, we will remove the content in question to comply with copyright law. For fairness, we may share the DMCA notice, including the complainant’s contact information, with the alleged infringer. If your content was taken down by mistake, you may file a counter-notice. This must contain: Identification of the content and its location before removal. Your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address. A sworn statement, under penalty of perjury, affirming that you believe the removal was made in error. A declaration consenting to legal proceedings and agreeing to accept service of legal documents. Your physical or electronic signature. We may reinstate the content after receiving a valid counter-notice unless the complainant initiates legal action.
